PEDESTRIART
Urban Art Project by Leonel Matheu

Pedestriart is an installation of urban art conceived by Leonel Matheu. It is composed of a series of traffic signs that are replace known iconography with his own. The goal of the piece is to stimulate the consciousness of the pedestrian through infinite interpretations. In order to demonstrate the work's purpose and cause a massive visual impact, this production is installed in a central urban area where the pieces can create a dialogue. The message is to utilize these images as graphic tools to communicate and question the collective memory of the viewer.

This program was made possible by the generous support from Davos Financial Group, Denise and Enrique Lerner, Tanya Brillembourg, Claudio and Beatriz Giardinella, Grupo First, Luis Andres Olivares and Holly Ana Rincon, Dr. Jorge Diaz and Midtown Miami.
